This policy explains what personal information NextStep Education ("we", "us") collects from you, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We keep it short and plain — if anything is unclear, contact us at [email protected].
What we collect
When you submit our contact form, use the booking widget, or message us on WhatsApp or Telegram, you share information with us — typically your name, age, the program you're interested in, your preferred start date, and any message you write.
If you decide to apply to a university through us, we additionally collect the documents needed for that application — for example academic transcripts, passport details, and photographs.
When you visit the site, our hosting and analytics providers automatically record anonymous, aggregated technical data (such as page views and approximate region). This is not used to identify you personally.
How we use it
We use your information only to respond to your enquiry, give you a free consultation, prepare and submit university applications on your behalf, and handle visa and EMGS paperwork. We also use it to keep in touch with you about your application.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it for advertising.
Who we share it with
To process an application, we share the relevant details with the Malaysian universities you apply to and with the government and immigration bodies that handle student visas (including EMGS). We share only what each step requires.
Because we communicate over WhatsApp and Telegram, messages you send through those apps are also processed by their providers under their own privacy policies.
How long we keep it
We keep your information for as long as needed to provide our services and to meet legal or record-keeping obligations. You can ask us to delete your data at any time and we will do so unless we're required to retain it.
Your choices
You can ask us to see, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop contacting you. Email [email protected] or message us on WhatsApp and we'll take care of it.
Children
Many of our prospective students are under 18. In those cases we expect a parent or guardian to be involved, and we're happy to communicate with them directly throughout the process.
Changes & contact
We may update this policy as our service grows; the date above shows the latest version. Questions about your privacy? Email [email protected] or message us on WhatsApp.
